At MYWIGSANDWEAVES our number 1 goal is to ensure client satisfaction at all
times. We are happy to annouce that we are now able to accept insurance payments
for clients who wear our Lace Front Wigs, due to medical conditions. To find out
if you have this coverage, ask your insurance company do you have coverage for "
Cranial Hair Prosthesis." This is the medical term under which lace front wigs
are filed. Many clients who have Alopecia or are undergoing Cancer Related
Treatments, are eligible for reimbursements under their health insurance
coverage. When you contact your insurance carrier to see if eligble, you may
also ask them, are you eligible for a "Cranial Hair Prosthesis "under
prescription code S8095; this is the prescription code that would be assigned by
your physician if you are eligible.
Do note that when applying for coverage under your insurance carrier, that you
will only be allowed the coverage if it is medically found that you must need a
Full Lace Wig ( Cranial Prosthesis ). Your insurance company will not allow you
coverage if you are wearing these wigs for cosmetic reasons only.
If your insurance coverage does not allow for you to receive a Cranial Hair
Prosthesis, then you can apply for a grant to cover your purchase through the "
National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF)" .

you meet the financial guidelines and have alopecia areata, then you may be
eligible for a grant to cover a percentage or the full purchase price of the

Another option available to those who wear Full Lace Wigs ( Cranial Prosthesis),
because of medical reasons, is to seek assistance from the American Cancer
Society.

your insurance provider will not cover all or any of your purchase, you can
apply for an allotment through the American Cancer Society. To qualify for this
voucher, you must apply for it , BEFORE making your purchase & be approved.
