 High heat synthetic hair has the memory curl characteristics like traditional synthetic hair. However the greatest difference is that high heat synthetic hair can be curled with a curler iron on a warm setting up to 300 degrees and can also be blow dried on low heat settings. Our High Heat Synthetic Hair Lace Wigs also feature hairlines that have 3" of lace material so that you can part farther back into the scalp for more natural partings.

High heat synthetic hair has become very popular because it resembles human hair but the cost is a small fraction of the price. With the lower prices of  high heat synthetic wigs, you will be able to try more new styles while not causing any stress on your own hair.

Many ask how is it possible to apply heat to a synthetic wig?
With the traditional synthetic hair, the fibers are made from a kankelon material that is unable to withstand heat. These hairs appear to be more shinier and if curled the hair will melt. This is why traditional synthetic hair has memory curl, so after you comb it or wash it with cool water or after air-drying the curl pattern may return.

With high heat synthetic hair, the hairs are made from a high heat fibre and the hair can withstand low heats. Now to make the hair curl, it will take a little time. When curling high heat synthetic hair, you will have to hold the curler iron or flat iron in place twice the time it would take to normally curl or flat iron human hair. The hair fibers are made to withstand heat, so it take a few moments for the hair to accept the heat and conture to the curl you are trying to create. You will need to keep the curler/flat iron in place a little longer than you would with human hair & once finished, gently slide the hair out of the curler/flat iron. Before styling the new curl, allow the hair to cool so that the curls can properly set.

As with any type of high heat fibre synthetic hair, we also recommend you patch test a small section to make sure the curler/flat iron is not too hot. For all of our synthetic wigs, we will notate on each item whether it is traditional synthetic hair ( unable to receive heat ) or high heat fiber ( can take heats up to 300 degrees ).
